Here we go!

The idea of a blog hit me a while back, when I saw that movie "Julia and Julia". It seemed like an interesting way of staying connected with people that aren't closeby. And well, now all of our family are in different states, so the time seems right. We may not post more than about once a week, but this feels like a more intimate way to share our lives with the people we love than facebook or a voicemail left in a game of phone tag.
